Orondo Cider Works’ salsa is one of the most popular prepared food items in the market. Chuck and Sharon Podlich moved out west over thirty years ago with a vision of cider and donuts in their head. They started raising apples and also raised a family of four beautiful girls (two of whom are getting married this summer). Finally in 2004, Chuck and Sharon broke ground on their dream. Today we know it as Orondo Cider Works, makers of fresh donuts and cider, but also the unique salsa that market customers have come to know and love. If you happen to stop by their store, be sure you also check out the made-before-your-eyes nitrous oxide ice cream, a show worthy of Bill Nye the Science Guy himself.
